Platform Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview cyDaptiv Solutions is seeking a Platform Engineer that will be responsible for developing and maintaining containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes. They will have a strong background in troubleshooting high impact software outages and failures, as well as building and supporting production platform services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers or Local Infrastructure like Vsphere. The Platform Engineer will also handle Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and Controls.
Platform Engineer Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain containerized services on orchestration platforms (Cloud Foundry/Kubernetes).
• Respond to and troubleshoot high impact software outages and failures.
• Build and support production platform services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers or Local Infrastructure (e.g., Vsphere).
• Manage Identity and Access Lifecycle Operations and Controls.
• Work in Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of modern microservices architectures, cloud-native design patterns, resiliency techniques, and delivery optimizations.
• Ensure DoD 8570 compliance to perform administrative functions on classified systems. Required Qualifications: • At least 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining containerized services on orchestration platforms (Cloud Foundry/Kubernetes).
• At least 2 years of experience in responding to and troubleshooting high impact software outages and failures.
• At least 2 years of experience in building and supporting production platform services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers or Local Infrastructure (e.g., Vsphere).
• At least 2 years of experience in Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and Controls.
• Experience in Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering. Education: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or engineering discipline preferred. (8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education)
