SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST

Duties * Serves as senior group leader responsible for supervision of 10-15 professional engineers, and information technology specialists and technicians. * Oversees the execution of technical, administrative and personnel management responsibilities related to the accomplishment of the mission assigned. * Interviews candidates and makes selections for vacant positions. * Responsible for leading contract efforts in conjunction with contracting office to award and monitor IT task orders. * Plans, analyzes, and conducts studies to determine most feasible methodology to meet Army requirements. * Applies broad information technology knowledge and extensive experience with information systems to provide technical support advice and guidance. * Develops and negotiates work and system requirements with customers and makes commitments for the organization. * Prepares comprehensive technical documents, strategic plans, and direction for command guidance. * Manage labor and material budgets for planning and execution for large Army IT efforts and projects.
