Duties * Serve as Team Lead within a focused geospatial support Team of a Branch of the Warfighter Support Directorate, Army Geospatial Center (AGC). * Collaborate on the work of supporting scientists and geospatial engineers within AGC, outside agencies, and contractors concerned with the mission of the Branch. * Educate customers on availability and capabilities of geospatial datasets, methodologies, procedures, and algorithms to enhance mission awareness. * Analyze, develop, test, and evaluate new processes, methodologies, and products using geospatial data and imagery in a resource constrained environment. * Communication skills, project management and awareness of emerging technology are key. * Quickly respond to short suspense requests as needed identifying and accessing all needed resources * Experience in geospatial and terrain analysis principles. * Proficiency with geospatial techniques and data systems. Assist with the integration of complex geospatial data, using variety of existing and emerging technologies to fulfill unique requirements. Disseminate varied urban & terrain analyses through an ever-changing global network through innovative means. Identify and evolve existing data and methodologies to meet emerging requirements and provide training and briefings as needed. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
