TRISTAR is seeking a Electrical/Electronics Technician III - for our government customer in Crane, IN Position Description: Provide professional technical support for SPS-49 radar system
Specific areas of interest: Transmitter repair, high voltage power supply repair, signal processing, fault isolation, obsolescence engineering research, component/system testing, and process/procedures enhancements
Specific tasking performed will relate to electrical, electronic, or mechanical components. Knowledge required: SPS-49 radar system functionality, SPS-49 operations, RF test equipment, and DOD documentation process Position Responsibilities: Provision of various testing, troubleshooting and technical analysis functions in support of AN/SPS-49 radar system Position Requirements: Five years relevant SPS-49 operational experience
Hardware/electrical problem solving skills
Understand of RF test equipment, signal measurement equipment, and shipboard operations
Must be a US Citizen
An Active Secret Clearance is required Radar Education and Certification: Associates degree and/or demonstrated equivalent experience COVID Policy: TRISTAR does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
