Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties * You will fabricate various test devices, electronic and mechanical, for instructional purposes. * You will develop new experimental systems and demonstration units for a variety of engineering laboratories, including Mechanical Engineering Experimentation, Mechanical Vibrations, Ocean Engineering Structures, or other labs. * You will determine test procedures and make design changes to improve test equipment and related accessories. * You will set up, calibrate, and operate mechanical/electronic equipment associated with various engineering labs, Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Applying theories and techniques of engineering to assist and direct students to solve design problems;
* Collecting and analyzing data to be used in technical papers and/or publications;
