Duties * You will serve as a technical expert and liaison in developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders in the Federal government, private industry, and state and local agencies. * You will ensure investigations are conforming to the required standards, objectives, and principles, and that reports are prompt, impartial, and thoroughly fact-finding. * You will participate in the development of new enforcement plans, schedules, or methods to accommodate changing program requirements. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. * This position is telework eligible * Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.10 Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Performing inspections, investigations, supervising, technically and administrative matters AND enforcement and/or compliance work as part of a Command Inspector General Office to support accomplishment and individual career development.
