Summary You will serve as a LEAD TECHNICIAN in the ENGAGEMENT SYSTEMS ASSESSMENT DIVISION, PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located in Corona, CA. Duties * You will serve as lead ePATAS (enhanced Portable Advanced Telemetry Acquisition System) Technician. * You will provide leadership and support in configuring, operating, and maintaining the complex Telemetry Auto-Tracking system (ePATAS) deployed onboard ship for long-range missile testing and live data streaming utilizing the latest TMOIP technology. * You will be responsible for operational readiness and maintenance of associated telemetry shipboard instrumentation. * You will assist in the management, operation, and maintenance of portable shipboard telemetry systems hardware and software. * You will report on Auto-Tracking antenna performance, according to RCC IRIG 118-20 Vol2 test procedures, as well as operational readiness of equipment. * You will demonstrate the ability to deploy and operate auto-tracking antenna in open ocean environment for large scale testing. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical guidance for the configuration and operation of telemetry systems onboard ships for long-range testing and data streaming. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, salary may be limited to the GS-13 step 10, currently $156,323. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
