FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Accounting and Budget Group of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. Duties * You will lead teams in defining core roles and responsibilities for Branch financial community. * You will be responsible for SSP internal financial process changes and business rules. * You will coordinate business rule updates with the ERP business office. * You will develop and maintain an internal Financial Management training program. * You will conduct training sessions with new employees and leads annual refreshers with the SSP financial community on internal policies and processes. * You will conduct ad hoc financial working groups to enhance the Financial Management user experience. * You will serve as the Command's G-invoicing point of contact, attending external meetings and disseminating pertinent information to SSP workforce. Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes. * This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26. * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing budget formulation and execution and utilizing financial systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
