Join IntePros Federal as a Datacenter Engineer, where you'll utilize your expertise in Hyperconverged solutions to design, implement, and maintain hardware and COTS for optimal performance and security. You'll manage Cisco Hyperflex servers and VMWare VCenter deployments, ensuring high availability and seamless operation across enclaves. To excel as a Datacenter Engineer at IntePros Federal, candidates must possess 7+ years of relevant IT Operations experience with expertise in managing hyperconverged solutions and VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter. Proficiency in datacenter architectures, Azure, Windows, and Linux operating systems, along with system hardening and IP networking, is crucial. Strong troubleshooting skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to achieving goals are essential. The ideal candidate will hold an Active Top-Secret clearance, maintain Security Compliance, and have experience with Nessus Security Center scan reports and monthly patching cycles. Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and certifications such as VCP, CHXSE, NCP, or ITIL v3/4 are highly desirable. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: 7+ years relevant experience in IT Operations environment
•7+ years of experience demonstrated professional expertise in managing and operating hyperconverged solutions.
7+ years of VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter experience.
An in-depth knowledge of datacenter architectures deployments and management
Thorough understanding of the desktop and server image build process.
Experience with Azure, Windows and Linux operating systems and concepts.
Working knowledge of system hardening (Security Technical Implementation Guide SRGs regulatory compliance)
Advanced understanding of IP (Internet Protocol) networking.
Thorough knowledge of Switches, Routers and Firewalls.
Experience with troubleshooting proactively identifying issues and driving them to resolution.
Effective communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to interact with team members various levels of management and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience.
Committed to results and success in accomplishing goals.
A fast learner with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn technology and understand unique system requirements.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work after hours and weekends when deemed critical.
Active Top-Secret clearance or DOE Q
Experience with Security Compliance and Nessus Security Center scan reports.
Experience with Monthly patching cycles. SCCM/LAN Desk experience preferred.
Experience with performance monitoring tools.
Excellent communication and documentation skill.
