Cybersecurity Remediation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Remediation Specialist to join our team for a client engagement. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the remediation and hardening of cyber applications and infrastructure to enhance our overall cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in identifying vulnerabilities, developing remediation plans, and implementing security best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments to identify vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure timely and effective implementation of remediation plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of remediation efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on remediation and hardening.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
