Position Description The Logistics & Maintenance Information Systems & Technology Division (D433000) is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to be responsible for the administrative and technical implementation of the cybersecurity program. To be successful in this role, the IT Specialist will need extensive knowledge of Cybersecurity, RMF Processes, Have or be able to get Security + certification and an OS Certification. Responsibilities of the IT Specialist are listed as follows: 1. Develop and maintain an organization and system-level cybersecurity program that includes cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives, and policies and cybersecurity processes and procedures. 2. Develop and maintain a repository for all system-level cybersecurity-related documentation. 3. Monitor compliance with cybersecurity policy, as appropriate, and review the results of such monitoring. 4. Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations. 5. Ensure implementation of Information System (IS) security measures and procedures, to include: reporting incidents to the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and appropriate reporting chains, plus coordinating system-level responses to unauthorized disclosures IAW applicable policies and procedures. 6. Ensure the handling of possible or actual data spills are conducted IAW applicable policies and procedures. 7. Act as the cybersecurity technical SME for DoD IS under respective purview. 8. Ensure that cybersecurity-related events or configuration changes that may impact DoD IS authorization or security posture are formally reported to the affected parties. 9. Ensure the secure configuration and approval of IT below the system level (products and IT services) are IAW applicable guidance prior to acceptance into or connection to a DoD IS. 10. Implement and enforce all DoD IS cybersecurity policies and procedures, as defined by cybersecurity-related documentation. 11. Ensure that all system users have the requisite security clearances and access authorization for DoD IS under respective purview before being granted access to those systems. 12. Initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered. 13. Ensure that all DoD IS cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals. Experience Required 4-7 Years Minimum Salary 76,135 Maximum Salary 118,635
