Primary Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Determine and Report on production shortages daily. * Communicate critical delivery information to Management. * Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong personal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. * Responsible for executing Configuration and Data Management processes and controls for managing and tracking configuration changes and ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements. * Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple projects. * Resolve problems related to production jobs such as configuration changes, engineering changes, material issues, schedule priority, etc. * Monitor production status of jobs to ensure they meet schedule requirements. * Report job status to management. * Report job status using spreadsheets, custom reports, etc. * Monitor material requirements and coordinate with Purchasing. * Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Inventory Control. * Expedite jobs as required. * Conduct status meetings weekly. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment. * Candidate must be able to work both independently and in a cohesive team environment. * Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with team and management. * Candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Candidate must have deep understanding of industry practices and standards AS9100, MS Office, and ERP knowledge (preferred) * Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. * Candidate must be a US Citizen and must possess and be able to maintain a Final Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Preference shown to candidates that have: * Possess planning experience in a manufacturing facility. * Experience in data or configuration management. * Working knowledge of Costpoint ERP system. * Working knowledge of Oracle. * Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience in project scheduling. * Knowledge in math and statistics. * Understanding of a bill of material structure. * Electronic component handling requirements. * ESD Processes & Procedures. Pay Range: Pay Range $49,400.00 - $89,300.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
