Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to support a network operations program for MARFORRES (Marine Corp Reserves) intranet in New Orleans, LA. The team is seeking an individual with a dynamic skill set in network operations and end-user support for more than 400,000 hardware devices and 800,000 users in the U.S. and abroad. Clearance: Secret clearance required Location: New Orleans, LA Responsibilities of the Network Operations Specialist: · Monitor the infrastructure and network by responding appropriately to alerts and events · Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate. · Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services. · Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures. · Provide data center support where appropriate. · Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues. · Provide incident notification to Government representatives. Qualifications of the Network Operations Specialist: * Secret clearance required
* 10+ years of IT experience * Experience monitoring, maintaining, administering, configuring, and/or troubleshooting Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
* Troubleshooting outages, configuration upgrades, and monitoring and reporting outages on classified and unclassified networks. * Network performance monitoring, network security monitoring
