CONTRACT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Procurement Gorup of the NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Duties * You will plan, develop, implement, maintain, and administer all contract aspects of a system acquisition program. * You will utilize price/cost analysis techniques to evaluate contractor proposals and prepare a pre-negotiation position. * You will apply negotiation techniques to conduct contract negotiations of hardware sole source major weapons systems contracts with high level business, industry, scientific, and/or Government officials. * You will perform cost analysis in sole source major weapons system procurements. * You will demonstrate experience executing Foreign Military Sales contracts. Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
