Infrastructure Engineer 
Location: Aurora, CO and Fairfax, VA 
Required Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly  U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation.  Job Description: ITEC is hiring Cloud Infrastructure Engineers with strong Linux and AWS skills to join our growing commercial cloud team. If you're experienced with deploying applications in a hybrid cloud, have a solid background in vanilla Kubernetes, and excel in recommending approaches and automation, we want you  Job Responsibilities: * Ensure the maintenance and enhancement of Kubernetes clusters within commercial clouds, focusing on incident prevention and efficient cloud infrastructure management.
* Guide clients through Kubernetes development and testing, facilitating a seamless transition to operational deployment.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, actively participating in operational tasks and responsibilities to bridge the gap between development and IT operations. 
Required Skills: * Proficient across diverse Linux system architectures, with a focus on Amazon Linux and RHEL 9.
* Extensive hands-on experience in managing containers within Kubernetes pods.
* Demonstrated capability in creating, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
* Effective multitasker, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring streamlined project delivery.
* Strong communication skills, facilitating productive technical discussions with both team members and clients.
* Expertise in patching, vulnerability management, and conducting compliance scans.
* Familiarity with change management tools, particularly Puppet/Hiera.
* In-depth understanding of CI/CD processes, encompassing the maintenance of code and containers, for example, in Gitlab and Harbor.
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, coupled with proficiency in BASH and Python scripting.
* Comfortable and adept at working with collaborative platforms such as Confluence and Jira.
