Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer

Peerless Technologies is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer to support the F-22 Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The candidate will provide technical management of the F-22’s EW system by monitoring, evaluating and facilitating system development to achieve requirements, and also monitoring and reporting on EW system performance, cost, schedule, and risk. You shall also provide technical management assistance in the creation of EW Test Program Introductory Documents, EW Small Business Innovative Research contracts, and EW Radio Frequency simulators. The candidate shall advise and assist the Government with ensuring safety qualification and certification of F-22 countermeasures; conducting EW risk reduction simulation modeling; utilizing EW off-board mission planning software tools; providing technical management of classified EW advanced programs; processing EW special program access requests; providing technical management of EW software interface controls; and providing technical planning for flight testing of the EW system. You shall also evaluate the design of electronic circuits and components for use in fields such as telecommunications, aerospace guidance and propulsion control, acoustics, or instruments and controls in support of the F-22 Program office efforts. Requirements - At least ten years of recent EW engineering and/or Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) experience with the F-22 or other fighter/bomber aircraft in the modernization and sustainment phase of their life cycle. The experience shall include general electronics engineering, research, design, development, and/or testing of electronic components and systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use while employing knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties. - Work in secure facilities is required on an as-needed basis. - An active TS/SCI security clearance is required - Education Requirements:
Successfully completed an undergraduate or graduate degree with a major in engineering from a college or university with an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program(s) degrees in engineering technology do not qualify for these positions.
