Purpose: Developing and configuring SAP to meet business needs. Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for SAP modules and integrated applications, processes, and data. Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through SAP modules. Researching business requirements, developing detailed specifications, and validating SAP solutions with business stakeholders. Communicating business stakeholder needs to the SAP development team by translating end-user business requirements into SAP module requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business, and Business Systems

Licenses/Certifications:

SAP FICO Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In-depth knowledge of Accounting, Finance, and Controlling business processes. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Excellent communication skills (written and oral), and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, Planning, Problem-solving, and Coordination skills.

Work Experience: 5-7 years.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hands-on expertise in configuring SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Assets, Product Costing, Material Ledger, COPA, and Credit Management, with detailed knowledge of SAP ABAP programs, function modules, SAP scripts, User Exits, ALE, and IDOCs.
  • Developing and implementing SAP configuration, best practices, processes, and standards and communicating those plans to Senior Management.
  • Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement activities by correcting configuration and responding to scope changes and application enhancements.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting complex and multi-dimensional problems with business end users and/or other IT professionals
  • Communicating business stakeholders' needs to the SAP development team by interpreting the business requirements and translating them into SAP technical requirements.
  • Researching business requirements, developing detailed functional specifications, and validating the SAP solutions with business stakeholders.
  • Identifying and analyzing business needs, facilitating workshops to conduct requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives with business stakeholders.
  • Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through an SAP module and/or new technology or alternative use of existing technology and communicating those solutions to Senior Management/Executives
  • Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
  • Leading business process integration and testing across SAP modules and external applications. Developing test scenarios, and test scripts and performing end-to-end testing.
