WORK DESCRIPTION:

We seek a driven, results-oriented individual to support the network team. The primary responsibilities for this individual will include the creation, moving to production (MTP), and ongoing management of a new video streaming and on-site corporate communications service offering. The primary responsibilities of this position are:

  • Initial inventory of all current and potential signage locations and deployed equipment.
  • Configuration and implementation of signage displays.
  • Weekly status reports.
  • Daily monitoring of system status.
  • Create, update, and maintain operational documentation.
  • Resolution of tier-1 generic network incidents and requests.
  • Resolution of tier-2 and 3- technology-specific incidents and requests supporting the Video Streaming and onsite Corporate Communication services.

Required skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in Configuring, implementing, and managing network streaming services, App Space, IPTV, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions.
  • 4+ years of experience Configuring, implementing, and managing network devices.
  • 4+ years of experience Monitoring and troubleshooting complex network switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • 4+ years of experience Operating, managing, and supporting routing protocols, specifically BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VXLAN.
  • 4+ years of experience Operating, managing, and supporting next-generation firewalls.
  • 4+ years of experience Operating, managing, and supporting wireless networks.
  • 4+ years of experience Operating, managing, and supporting DNS.
  • 4+ years of experience Operating, managing, and supporting software-defined networks.
  • 4+ years of experience Operating, managing, and supporting network access controls.

Preferred skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in complying with regulatory controls.

Work hours and location:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40-hour work week).
  • Additional work hours may be required to support 24-hour Utility operations, including evenings, weekends, holidays, inclement weather, and emergency closures.
  • Infrastructure team members must be onsite a minimum of twice a week.

  • Provide support for all the sites supported by the Network LAN & Telecom team.
