Clearance Required: TOP SECRET, TS/SCI and SAP eligibility desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or math Experience: Five years of professional engineering experience, and at least three years of which shall have consisted of performing engineering functions with respect to support, research, or development of mechanical, electrical, or aerospace systems.
Developmental or operational test & evaluation experience.
Writing and editing test plans.
Coordinating test and evaluation events.
Coordinating within a team and across multiple organizations.
Capturing test data, conducting analysis and evaluation.
Writing and editing discrepancy reports and test reports.
Experience with airborne surveillance and self-protection systems.
Experience with the integration of airborne mission systems in air platforms.
Experience representing a team at broad organizational working groups.
Experience coordinating and running working groups with representatives from multiple organizations.
Experience within the NAVAIR Test Community (preferred).
Experience with Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (DECM), Radar Warning Receivers, and other airborne electronic warfare systems (preferred).
Experience with CH-53K helicopter mission systems (preferred).
Naval aircraft avionics technician experience (well-regarded). Position Description: Flight test engineer supporting a Navy/Marine Corps helicopter developmental test team and focusing on developmental test and evaluation of helicopter surveillance and self-protection systems. Support test coordination and execution. Capture flight test data and perform associated analysis. Draft daily test reports, discrepancy reports and support formal test reporting. Support systems integration test and evaluation. Skills Required: Strong writing skills

Ability to communicate with external organizations Ability to work independently and within a team
Skilled representing a team at broad organizational working groups.
