Utilizes advanced knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies. Develops and oversees web-based application design and creation. Plans, designs, evaluates, develops, tests, edits, maintains, and documents user-facing software/applications. Interview clients to help them clarify their goals for establishing an application/website. Designs or supervises the design of digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps, and other graphics to enhance the appearance of the application/website. Applies knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems. Performs complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software. May serve as a project architect. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM-based equivalent * Active TS/SCI clearance * 10 years of development experience in multiple programming languages, environments, and systems * 3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience * Experience with additional programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, C/C++, etc. * Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles * Strong communication skills - written, oral, and presentation * Team leadership and facilitation * Must meet DoD 8570 certification requirements IAT Lvl II within 90 days of hire
