Genuen is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company based in Lenexa, KS with offices in New Mexico, Michigan, and Ohio. This position is based on-site in Albuquerque, NM. Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Manager, Software Engineering, the Technologist, Electronics Systems will contribute to the fabrication, assembly, and integration of test systems in a team environment. This role is responsible for assembling, modifying, maintaining, and repairing electronics equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning. Responsibilities include:
• Replace defective component or part, using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Set up and operate specialized or standard test equipment to diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electronic components, assemblies, or systems.
• Perform hardware and software-based test procedures and interpret the pass/fail results.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance or calibration of equipment or systems.
• Prepare or maintain design, testing, or operational records and documentation.
• Assemble circuitry for electronic systems according to engineering instructions, production specifications, or technical manuals.
• Inspect newly installed equipment to adjust or correct operating problems. Position Qualifications
• Associate degree or equivalent training in relevant field.
• Good Windows based computer skills.
• Able to read, understand, and use as build instructions including schematics and wiring diagrams, mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings, and component datasheets and assembly instructions.
• Use of common electronic/electrical fabrication tools.
• Use of basic electronic test equipment for troubleshooting and calibration.
• IPC 620 / J-STD-001 understanding or certification is a plus. • United States Citizenship required.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a DoE security clearance is required.
• Occasional travel required.
