Summary: Goldbelt C6, LLC., is seeking an Inter-Agency and Multilateral Affairs Officer to provide contract support to the Professional Support Services Cultural Heritage Center (ECA/P/CHC). The Inter-Agency and Multilateral Affairs Officer to facilitate coordination between the CHC, other parts of the State Department, other U.S. government agencies, and multilateral organizations in order to protect and preserve cultural heritage. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: * Facilitate planning for and operations of the Cultural Heritage Coordinating Committee and its subsidiary bodies, in particular the Cultural Antiquities Task Force (CATF). * Develop and maintain close collaboration with members of the CATF and other U.S. law enforcement entities involved in efforts to counter trafficking of international cultural property and return stolen cultural heritage. * Assess needs and identify opportunities for foreign and domestic cultural property protection capacity building. * Facilitate development and implementation of CATF funded projects to protect cultural property, including joint trainings on cultural property for U.S. and foreign law enforcement and cultural heritage professionals. * Facilitate CHC engagement with one or more multilateral organizations. * Develop, manage and see through discrete projects or initiatives in support of CHC and / or CHCC goals and objectives. * Liaise with a network of Departmental, interagency, and non-governmental partners and contacts, including grantees and U.S. embassy staff. * Assist with CHCC and CATF internal and external communications via public website, social media, and interagency law enforcement enterprise portal. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: * Demonstrated experience facilitating coordination of multiple independent actors to agree on and achieve common goals and objectives. * Demonstrated experience working independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced work environment. * Strong planning and organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities. * Strong analytic skills and critical and creative thinking abilities. * Strong written and oral communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships with associates and grantees. * Demonstrated ability developing, managing, and seeing through discrete projects or initiatives in support of an overall program or set of organizational goals and objectives. * Demonstrated facility with standard office, cloud-based software, including the complete Microsoft Office 365 Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Minimum Qualifications: * An advanced degree (master or higher) in one or more of the following fields: international affairs, public administration, art history, archaeology, anthropology, historic preservation, law, criminal justice, or related fields * Three years of work history clearly demonstrating an ability to independently coordinate with stakeholders and manage development or implementation of distinct projects, initiatives or portfolios that contribute to larger organization goals. * Ability to travel to and perform services in an area that has been determined by the Department to be a hazardous duty area. * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated experience in multilateral affairs and federal interagency coordination. * Demonstrated experience in cultural affairs preservation of cultural heritage, anthropology/archaeology. * Currently maintains a security clearance at the Secret level. * Prior experience working with the U.S. Department of State is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.
