The Security and Resilience practice at ICF is actively recruiting for an experienced Telecommunications Analyst who has worked in a cleared environment and has an active clearance for on-site wok in Dahlgren, Virginia with the potential for some remote work. The program encompasses a range of activities in support of the U.S. Department of Defense’s analyses, policies, and guidance for mission assurance, defense critical infrastructure, and related security and resilience programs and projects. What You Will Be Doing: Analyzing multiple aspects of civilian and military telecommunications systems, networks, and related infrastructure
Collaborating with teammates working on analyses of other infrastructure such as electric power
Documenting analyses with high attention to detail
Responding to quick-turn tasks as well as completing more detailed analyses
What You Will Need to Have: A minimum of 4 years of experience in several of the following areas: analysis of commercial or military communications assets and networks; engineering and design of communications components and networks including fiber, cable, or wireless systems; modeling of transport and network systems; and use of GIS software in analysis.
4 years of experience in a professional working environment to include recent experience in a cleared work site
1+ year of consulting experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
An active clearance (client requirement)
U.S. citizenship (client requirement)
What We Would Like You to Have: Experience in mission assurance, homeland security, infrastructure resilience, or related safety and security policies
DoD experience (civilian or military)
High-level clearance
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Exceptional planning and organizational skills with an emphasis on timely completion and attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Team player with the ability to adjust work pace to match client priorities and competing demands, especially on no-notice quick-turn needs
Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing onsite support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential, and government classified information
Highly-disciplined, self-starter requiring minimal guidance
Solid experience with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
