Systems Engineer - DevOps (CI/CD)
Chantilly, VA
Salary: $215,000 We are looking for a dedicated Systems Engineer with a deep passion for DevOps methodologies. The ideal candidate will significantly contribute to enhancing deployment frequencies and accelerating market readiness by utilizing cutting-edge technologies. This role requires a problem-solver with substantial experience in crafting efficient continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record in developing and implementing strategic DevOps practices. Important Requirement: This position mandates an active Top Secret Clearance and a Full-Scope Polygraph. Qualifications Required: • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen • Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph • Proven experience in DevOps and Platform Management, specifically with Amazon Web Services (AWS) components including S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and CloudFormation. • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation and orchestration. • Proficiency in containerization technologies, notably Docker. • Strong command of programming languages such as Python, Perl, and Java. • Expertise in automating infrastructure using AWS. • Experience in deploying and maintaining high-availability web applications. • Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates. • Agile Scrum methodology experience in a development team setting. • Ability to develop highly available systems on Cloud platforms, using Linux and advanced bash scripting. • Knowledge in managing GitLab runners for scripting and configuring pipeline jobs. Desired Skills: • Experience in application development using technologies like SOLR, Elastic, RDS, or similar. • Competency in working with both relational and non-relational databases, including Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Postgres. • Troubleshooting skills in Internet and Web-related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Node.js, Web Services, or SSL. • Hands-on experience and problem-solving skills in developing JUnit and Jasmine tests.
