Duties * Maintains the Directorate suspense roster and assigns taskers; tracks progress of staff actions to meet all suspense. * Evaluates long and short range projects to resolve major administrative problems for measuring program accomplishments. * Collaborates with Command Group to develop, analyze, evaluate, and review projects; work methods and procedures, manpower utilization and distribution of work assignments. * Attends and actively participates in staff calls and other special meetings conducted by the Director. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) providing executive level guidance and assistance in the management of complex projects and studies for headquarters level organization; 2) responsible for management and oversight of all staffing actions and materials prepared for the Principal staff; and 3) Skilled in preparing briefings, white papers, Executive summaries and other documents to assist in the development of organizational policies and procedures. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
