Duties * Serve as a Supervisory Aircraft Pilot for the United States Aviation Support Facility (ASF). * Establish work schedules and priorities for subordinates based on workload. * Provide training support in all phases of aviation unit operations, aircraft maintenance and supply functions. * Formulate, standardize, and implement comprehensive flight standardization, evaluation and training programs. * Responsible for the operation of the USAR Aviation Support Facility for the Army Reserve Aviation Command. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be H-60 Maintenance Test Pilot (MP) qualified * Must possess a current first class medical certificate in accordance with FAA regulations or DOD equivalent at the time of appointment. * This position is subject to Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements. * This position requires an annual medical examination. * This position requires a secret security clearance. * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Specialized experience includes: Performing various aviator duties as a Maintenance Test Pilot (MP), or Maintenance Test Pilot Examiner (ME); establishing work schedules, determining priorities, delegating responsibilities, providing feedback to employees, and setting performance standards; assisting with operational budgetary requirements; and providing training in all phases of aviation unit operations, aircraft maintenance and supply functions. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
