A week in the life of a Systems Engineer III: * Develop software in LabVIEW programming environment. * Design, develop, document, test and debug application software and systems for onboard ship and submarine research. * Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of National Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software. * Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. * Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software. * Conduct testing with actual system hardware and document test results. * Some travel ( Job Requirements * Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. * B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Applied Math, or closely related field. * National Instruments CLA or CLD Certification * This position is 100% on-site.
