MAINTENANCE MECHANIC with Security Clearance

Duties * You will utilize journey level trade skills primarily in the following two trades at the WG-10 level: Electrician and Industrial Equipment Mechanic. * You will install, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment. * You will install, align, troubleshoot, repair, disassemble, overhaul, and maintain various types of nonproduction or general industrial plant machinery, equipment, and systems. * You will interpret building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and maintenance and repair manuals to plan and lay out the work and skill to use trade formulas to calculate common properties. * You will use close tolerance measuring devices and tools (e.g., voltmeters, ammeters, multimeters, vacuum and acid pumps, pressure gauges, humidity recorders, micrometers, calipers, soldering equipment) to repair and test equipment.
