Duties * Serve as a Management and Program Analyst for the US Army Aberdeen Proving Ground Garrison Plans, Analysis and Integration Office (PAIO). * Plan and advises on implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, methods or approaches of substantial scope, difficulty, and complexity in areas of productivity, quality management, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Represents the garrison in meetings with staff officials. Maintains contact and liaison with governmental, scientific, academic, and/or business institutions on matters relating to assigned programs. * Applies administrative laws, policies, regulations and applicable precedents affecting the use of program and related support resources including agency mission, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. * Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
