Spec, Administration (Mission Coordinator) The Mission Coordinator will provide initiation and implementation of data management in accordance with contract requirements to include building of crew mission packets. Receives and processes raw intelligence data and provides actionable products to flight crews for study and mission analysis of products prior to the mission. Determines coordinates for accurate location of mission requirements for pre-flight analysis. Prepares reports and products for these missions. Uses numerous sources of input to support intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance missions to include weather data,ATO, SPINS, 1801 flight planning and Falcon View or other mapping software(s). Performs quality control checks on post-mission reports. Maintains mission requirements database(s). Understanding of crew qualifications IAW FAA and 8210 standards (i.e.-FAA Medical, Chamber, Water Survival, Type rating, FAA Pilot certifications). Working knowledge of external FBO vendor coordination (i.e.- fuel requirements, customs forms, DIP clearances). Must be able to communicate effectively in person, via electronic and radio. Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Must be able to work efficiently with Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Operational knowledge of mIRC, HPW, KU and communications equipment (ARC 231, PRC 117G, 152, etc) highly desired. Qualifications - External - Ability to work and live in close proximity and austere environment with peers. - Ability to focus on numerous tasking's in fast paced iterations through periods of 12 hours or more at a time. - Working OCONUS knowledge of flight crew functions and weather reporting. - Knowledge of functions and performance of various communications equipment and allied components; use of ALSE; inflight and emergency procedures (IFEs); and current ISR flying directives. - Must be eligible to deploy to OCONUS locations and be and maintain physically qualified. - Avionics or systems understanding and performance of the EO/IR sensor systems, illuminator, dispenser equipment, communications equipment and allied components. - Understanding of in flight and emergency procedures (IFEs) and current flying directives. - Special Operations and/or Flight management experience in civil or military aviation highly desired. - Requires Active DOD Secret clearance - OEM or military training courses are desirable.
