PROGRAM MANAGER with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a Program Manager in the Program Office for Strategic and Theater Sealift (PMS385) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS. Duties * You will utilize schedules and evaluates actual/projected progress to direct/redirect resources so that projects proceed in an orderly, cost effective, and timely manner. * You will direct the conduct of acquisition studies and coordinate the development of cost estimates and analyses in response to ASN or OSD tasking during all phases of ship acquisition. * You will resolve complex acquisition problems involving shipbuilding and ship systems design, integration and production concepts, contract, budgeting, funding constraints, progress, invoicing, and payment methods. * You will review, prepare and present responses to shipbuilding program audits conducted by the Navy and other agencies and administrative and investigative reports which involve program issues related to acquisition management. * You will develop and negotiate working agreements with supporting PEO and NAVSEA codes and activities, manages, program office goals and objectives. Ensures commitments and objectives are fully addressed and understood in all stages. * You will monitor contractual and legal problems during acquisition, design and construction of ships and associated material and services. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band/grade, NH-03 (GS-13), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the development or implementation of acquisition or life cycle strategies to achieve program goals for ship, or submarine systems.
