Duties * Serves as functional lead for a group of project managers overseeing multiple facilities projects throughout the Agency, providing expertise and technical guidance as required. * Participates in Agency wide facilities review as well as strategic planning and workforce planning efforts to ensure agency facilities, space, environmental health and safety, and equipment programs remain robust and proactive. * Analyzes, reviews, and develops applicable guidance for programs agency wide. Enters facilities and space management information into Tririga Computerized Maintenance Management System System and ensures information is current * Provides guidance to analyze difficult problems and assists in the development of facilities and space solutions agency wide. Reviews agency policies, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal guidance * Prepares budget estimates for agency facilities in line with the annual budget. Management of facilities and space management projects in alignment of agency goals and mission. Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is initiating and implementing policies and procedures which require the coordination, integration, and resolution of a wide variety of issues and concerns which involve property management, facilities, space management, and environmental health and safety at the Agency level, coordinating facility support services matters with external customers and representatives; developing budget justifications and monitoring budget execution; analyzing and coordinating budget estimates dealing with invoiced rent and security bills from various Federal agencies and/or military installations. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: There is no substitution of education for experience at this grade level. Telework: Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination. Recruitment/Relocation Incentive: A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized for this vacancy based on agency staffing needs and budgetary availability. The incentive will require a signed service agreement, as well as satisfactory performance and conduct. The service agreement will detail conditions of receipt and acceptance of the incentive, and will be provided after entrance on duty. This monetary incentive will be disbursed within several pay periods after entrance on duty. PCS: Relocation expenses reimbursed - Yes - You may qualify for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with agency policy. Relocation expenses will be offered based on agency staffing needs and budgetary availability.
