Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Flight Test Specialist in the Range OPS Division China Lake Ranges Deptof NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Duties * You will lead, supervise, and manage the Test Conduct Section. * You will be responsible for planning and directing the workload of the Test Conductors and MicroSpeech. * You will be responsible for test conduct in advising aircrews of flight restrictions, down radar systems, and real time changes of test resources and overall responsible for test execution. * You will process and maintain Range Safety and environmental logs, accident/incident reports, and other routine correspondence. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge in range operations, range safety, ordnance safety, and environmental policies; 2) Planning and scheduling Test Conductors; 3) Understanding complex mission requirements and coordinating multiple range resources; 3) Processing and maintaining Range Safety and environmental logs, accident/incident reports, and other routine correspondence; 4) Participating in scheduling process, event planning, resource management, event review, resolving conflicts as needed and approval via the Ranges event planning tool (TRMS).
