Nurse Float Pool Registered Nurse

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.

Status/FTE: FT / 1.0 FTE

Shift length: 12 hours

Start Time: 0700

Unit: Adult Float Pool (ICU/PCU, Med/Surg, Extended stay, ED, Rehab)

Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): 3 12-hour shifts per week, every third weekend, holidays by rotation (one winter, one summer)

Unit specific additional qualifications: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.

Required qualifications:

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • 3-5 years RN experience in one of the Adult Float Pool units

Preferred qualifications: certification preferred; charge experience preferred
