The Senior Customer Business Partner (Sr. CBP) is accountable, as an individual contributor, for all aspects of building, selling, and executing joint business plans that deliver the objectives of the Amazon and Kimberly-Clark Child Care business within the Baby & Child Care (BCC) Team. The primary commercial objectives include but are not limited to net sales, share, and sale inputs/ controllables for BCC at Amazon. The Sr. CBP will conduct Joint Business Planning alongside key customer contacts to gain alignment on goals and plans. This role will collaborate with various stakeholders to execute the plan and check/adjust as necessary to achieve agreed upon goals. Internal to K-C, the Sr. CBP is responsible for leading key planning processes and engagements for assigned customer/BU(s) including Annual Operating Plan and Business Planning Processes, ongoing communications, and others as needed to ensure alignment with BU Strategies and adherence KC planning policies and processes. The Sr. CBP will collaborate with cross function customer team members as needed to better analyze, build and execute the business plan.

In this role you will:

  • Own the Child Care (CC) relationship internally and with Amazon vendor managers

  • Collaboratively build and implement the customer business plan

  • Manage delivery of plan and business objectives; check and adjust, as necessary.

  • Maintain trusted relationship with assigned customer to ensure KC is positioned as a trusted partner to lean on in achieving business objectives

  • Accountability and ownership for delivering results by looking to solve gaps with existing resources, trade dollars and engage with BU sales as needed to solve.

  • Conduct business and data analysis to build data driven recommendations for improvements and advancements.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in exempt/upper-level management of customer development, and proficient in customer, category and trade management

  • Experience presenting to Executive Level staff

  • Strong record of exceeding sales objectives

  • Strong negotiation skills as well as strong oral, verbal and written communication skills, results and strategy orientation, business intuition, business management and planning, brand management, leadership, building strong relationships, statistics and quantitative business analysis, change management and team management

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of forecasting and experience with supply and demand

  • Experience working in Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry and K-C customer/retailer accounts and familiarity with Amazon/Amazon eco-system

  • Digital commerce experience

  • Track record of developing and executing unique solutions and innovation to customers

  • Digital commerce experience

  • Experience with PowerBI, SQL query tools, Edge, Profitero and Commerce IQ tools

  • Experience creating actionable insights with retailer consumption data and consumer insights.
