This position is for Final Test located in Goleta, CA. While working in the test department you will be faced with several tasks and exposed to numerous types of equipment. Some test equipment ranges from early 90’s to the most current technology that enables us to perform these tasks. The role is very dynamic as it requires you to be able to rotate between different labs and buildings and those responsibilities can change on day-to-day basis. You will be tasked with running numerous test software while following very detailed instructions provided by engineering. Attention to detail will be required on every task. Final test is the last step of every build, we must pay close attention to all data being collected to be able to detect any anomalies or defects that may not be physically visible until the final acceptance test has been completed.


What You Will Do:

  • You will work closely with engineering and other support functions. You'll help develop manufacturing processes and give input for products/provide insight and propose changes to engineering in regard to updating QTP’s & WI’s.

  • Conducts test and data collection thought multiple TEST labs located throughout the campus.

  • Troubleshoot and solves production process problems with process equipment already in operation.

  • Responsibilities will include running FAT test software utilizing several programs.

  • This position is 1st shift, onsite, 0600 start time.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires AA/AS degree ( or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Test Software in some of the following - Testlab, Matlab, DAVE core & Talon

  • Experiencing in a manufacturing environment

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Ability to solve complex problems

  • Experience in training/assigning work to other technical/business support employees

The salary range for this role is 48,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
