RESPONSIBILITIES
- Payroll Weekly Runs:
- Process weekly payrolls accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handle payroll entries and adjustments, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Process on-demand check requests as needed.
- Data Processing:
- Process EIB’s, ensuring proper balancing.
- Review and enter pay items accurately into the payroll system.
- Reporting and Auditing:
- Run and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to verify accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
- HR Central Tasks:
- Respond to inquiries and tasks related to HR Central, providing support and resolving issues as needed.
- Maintain and update payroll-related documentation and records.
- Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION
- 2-3+ years of proven payroll experience preferred
- Great Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Systems experience, preferably Workday & ADP SmartCompliance
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Payroll or Accounting Qualification is preferred but not required
- Degree is preferred but not required
- Due to the nature of this position, candidates must reside on Eastern or Central timezones
- Candidates close to Burlington, NC office preferred

Pay Range: $15-24 hourly
Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), ESPP, Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible time off (FTO), Commissions, and Company bonus where applicable.
