Job Type: TPD 0.2 FTE | Days | Weekends per MNA Contract

$4,000 Sign-on Bonus with one (1) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • ACLS and PALS are required within three (3) months of hire
  • One (1) year of ED experience required
  • TNCC certification within one (1) year of hire
  • BSN preferred
  • Previous ED experience preferred

Department/Unit Summary

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patient from admission to the department through discharge or transfer.  Provides expert care and education to patients in the Emergency setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.  The Emergency Department RN is knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.
