Quality Assurance Technician

- Coordinate, monitor and check packages to maximize the quality of products produced
- Perform and review teardowns
- Assure package integrity and product quality
- Check PH on pre-processed and post-processed products
- Use solids analyzer
- Communicate lab data with operators and supervisors
- Perform a variety of quality checks to assure standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
- Perform investigations related to product spoilage
- Perform incubation activities according to standard timelines
- Calibrate specified quality testing equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of aseptic systems, processes, and practices
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices is beneficial
- Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills
- Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint software
- Proficient with MS Excel software
