- Weld flat, horizontal, and vertical plane geometry.
- Understand various edge preps before welding.
- Good understanding of set up techniques, and joint cleaning procedures for aluminum.
- Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
- Quality control of incoming and completed product as per print and/or standards.
- Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of parts and weldments.
- Keeps the work area clean and organized.
- Arrives at work, meetings and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
- Wear and use the appropriate PPE for the task being done.
