Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday ( 8:00am - 5:00pm )
  • Limited remote working conditions can be arranged with a supervisor. Due to this role’s nature and demands, flexibility is required to work outside normal business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists the Controller in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department
  • Reconciliation of multiple accounts
  • Prepares workpapers monthly for time dependent corporate tasks
  • Manages the inventory physical count and adjustments in the accounting system
  • Back up Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed
  • Back up preparing general journal entries as needed
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of the division’s financial reporting
  • Helps to ensure that all corporate and required accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the division
  • Any other duties needed to assist within the Accounting Department
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to organize and maintain paperwork
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Sets priorities in an efficient manner and optimizes time and resources to achieve desired results
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Understanding of SOX compliance
  • Maintain financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
