What a Material Handler will do:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products
  • Move materials and products to the appropriate storage areas using manual and powered equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ensure materials are organized, labeled, and stored safely to prevent damage or deterioration
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to management
  • Assist in inventory audits and reconciliation processes
  • Pick and prepare materials for production or shipping according to work orders or customer orders
  • Pack and label products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
What you need to be a Material Handler:
  • 1+ years of material handling experience
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Forklift experience is required
