Facilities Manager Job Description:
  • Research and estimate costs of facilities projects, labor, equipment, and materials
  • Oversee design projects and ensure compliance with all codes and contracts
  • Coordinate and oversee workflow of all departments including plant operations
  • Perform daily facility inspections
  • Maintain records and documentation of facility use, maintenance schedule, construction records and address any issues
  • Maintain open dialogue with internal departments to foster strong relationships
  • Other duties as assigned
Facilities Manager Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Min 5 years' experience in related field
  • Strong understanding of facilities planning principles along with local, state and federal building codes/regulations
  • Strong knowledge of building design, construction and industrial maintenance
  • Strong communication and time management skills
