Job Title: Fireworks Technician/Pyrotechnician

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled pyrotechnicians to join our team working in central Florida. As a pyrotechnician, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory, pulling inventory for displays, loading and executing stunning firework displays. You will work closely with entertainment and technical teams to create unforgettable experiences for our clients’ guests.

Responsibilities:

·      Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property

·      Maintain an ATF required inventory of all 1.4g & 1.3g products

·      Prepare both 1.4g & 1.3g products for displays, i.e., pull, mark, box, transport

·      Load and implement pyrotechnic displays for special events, shows, and celebrations

·      Ensure all pyrotechnic equipment is properly maintained and in good working order

·      Coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper timing and execution of pyrotechnic displays

·      Participate in rehearsals and run-throughs of pyrotechnic displays to ensure all aspects are executed properly

·      Provide training to other pyrotechnicians as needed

Location:

·      Central Florida.  Osteen, FL, Sanford, FL & Palm Coast, FL

·      Possible company vehicle or mileage paid

Compensation:

·      Pay ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hours depending on experience

Preferred Qualifications:

·      High school diploma or equivalent

·      Demonstrated knowledge or interest in pyrotechnic products and implementation

·      Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·      Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

·      CDL with Hazmat License not required, though that will increase hourly rate.

Required

·      Ability to pass an ATF background check and drug test

·      21 or older
