Temp: Professional TA

Job Duties: Professional TA is hired to support faculty member and work one on one with students during hands-on lab setting (or break out-group.); may be asked to assist with Canvas management. The Professional TA is intended for lab/manipulation courses, classes with break out groups or cross campus classes. The Professional TA may grade exams or quizzes that are not Scantron-based, evaluate and assess students per contracted faculty. The Professional TA may assist in teaching demonstrations, assist in answering questions during class sessions, tutor and supervise open labs. May be asked to provide coverage of the faculty during absences. The Professional TA is not responsible for determining a student's final grade but may consult with contracted faculty regarding performance. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Licensed Acupuncturist: Holds a valid acupuncturist license in Washington. Communication Skills: Good communication to work effectively with students and the primary Supervisor. Commitment to Standards: Dedicated to upholding professional and regulatory standards in acupuncture.
