A-Line Staffing is now hiring Fully Remote Prior Authorization Certified Pharmacy Technician. The Prior Authorization Certified Pharmacy Technician would be working for a Major Health Plan and has career growth potential .
Prior Authorization Certified Pharmacy Technician Highlights:
· Will be assigned an 8-hour shift between 9am-9pm M-F (40 hours/week)
· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
· Pay Range: $18 - $21 Hourly (determined on experience)
Prior Authorization Certified Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
· Approve/recommend denial for determination requests based on defined criteria.
· Enter and document coverage determination request decision into the PBM/RxClaims system and notify providers and/or members.
· Refer coverage determination requests for specialty drugs to delegated vendor or client for processing.
· Contact providers for additional information to facilitate coverage determination reviews.
· Notify physicians, providers, and members of coverage determination decisions.
Prior Authorization Certified Pharmacy Technician Requirements:
· Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence.
· Active PTCB or ExCPT certification.
· 1-3+ years of prior authorization / coverage determination review experience.
· High school diploma or GED.
