Supervisor, Customer Care / Patient AdvocacyJOB SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Customer Care / Patient Advocacy, oversees daily operations of the Patient Advocacy team at the Rady Children's Health, San Diego site. This role ensures exceptional patient and family experiences by supervising staff, managing escalated concerns, and fostering collaboration with clinical and administrative departments. The Supervisor serves as the on-site leader for patient relations, drives service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent3 Years of ExperienceMinimum of 35 years of experience in patient advocacy, customer service, or healthcare operations.Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of hospital policies, patient rights, HIPAA regulations, and quality improvement practices.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Demonstrated commitment to respecting differences and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree5 Years of ExperienceThe current salary range for this position is $32.51 - $44.70. Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable. We demonstrate this commitment by conducting regular market reviews to remain competitive with organizations of similar size in the nonprofit, healthcare sector. The range listed above does not represent the full salary range for the position but is the expected hiring range for qualified candidates. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors including experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
