Theschedule for this role is from Monday 7:00 AM to Friday 7:00 PM, includingon-call responsibilities during the weekdays. Weekend requirements include24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, but there are no additionalweekend call duties beyond this timeframe.
Keyresponsibilities for this position include providing inpatient and outpatientgastroenterology consultations, diagnosing and treating gastrointestinalconditions, and performing required procedures such as Endoscopic RetrogradeCholangiopancreatography (ERCP). The physician will manage a variety ofgastrointestinal cases, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to bestpractices. The role also involves collaborating with a team of healthcareprofessionals to support patient needs, including providing on-call coverageduring designated shifts.
Requirements:
· Mustbe Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Board Eligible candidates will not beaccepted).
· Avalid Michigan state medical license is required. Candidates with theInterstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) will be considered if the dates are60+ days out, with proof of Letter of Qualification (LOQ) for IMLC.
· ActiveDEA license is required.
· COVID-19vaccination is mandatory.
· Musthave experience in performing ERCP procedures.
