Workday Technical Architect Richmond, VA Long term Contract Pay range: $80-85/hr on W2 or $90-95/hr on C2C Job Description: Serve as the highest technical escalation point for production issues and AMS problem management. nalyze recurring issues to drive long-term fixes and process improvement. Lead technical design and governance for integrations, security, and reporting across tenants. Manage the full integration lifecycle - design, development, deployment, and monitoring. Oversee data flow between Workday and third-party applications using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, and APIs. Ensure Workday Extend, Prism, and Orchestrate apps follow security and performance standards. (if applicable) Manage technical readiness for Workday bi-annual releases; review new features and regression impacts. Lead system monitoring, interface error management, and root cause analysis. Enforce adherence to technical and change control standards across AMS. Mentor AMS developers and analysts; review code and integration designs. Lead reviews of Workday Security Groups and Access Controls. Conduct quarterly security audits; ensure compliance with GDPR, SOX, and data privacy regulations. Support incident response in case of security or integration breaches.
