ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK Job Summary: Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join their accounting team. The A/P Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying expenses, getting approval for invoices and expenses, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. This role require strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilites: * Process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner. * Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports. * Reconcile vendor statements. * Prepare and process payments via check and credit card. * Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records. * Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries. * Assist with month-end closing activities. * Generate reports related to accounts payable activities. Qualifications: * Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. * Strong understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal team members. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
